Emerald CX®, Impact-resistant Nylon/Stainless-steel Cut-resistant String-knit Glove

Description

New in the lineup…a custom-engineered blend that combines the lightweight ease and strength of nylon with multi-strand stainless-steel wire, and thermo plastic rubber (TPR) backing to reduce back-of-hand injuries. TPR backing is sonically welded right onto the glove, rather than gluing it—that means it won’t come off. With these gloves, you get triple the cut resistance of comparable glass/nylon blends at half the cost of comparable cut-resistant styles.

Two ends of fine stainless-steel wire in the knit provide ASTM level-2 cut protection, based on a cut resistance of 1050 grams. Wire cannot be felt against the hand since the inside face is knit with 100% nylon for a smooth, comfortable feel. The combination of soft-yet-strong nylon and the strength of steel makes these gloves a comfortable and economical choice for cut protection. Longer 3-¾" knit wrists provide stay-in-place comfort and great wrist protection, while the TPR backing adds another level of defense.

Gloves are palm coated in black foamed-nitrile to increase grip in oily/wet situations. Foamed nitrile is soft and absorbent and works to enhance grip by displacing the oil on smooth surfaces, but won’t allow oil to soak through to the hand, making it the preferred choice for oily applications.

5 STARS - Great gloves! Im using them for demolition work. They are a little warm but it doesn't matter when they're keeping your hands safe. I have tried several kinds of gloves and so far these ones are the only ones capable of withstanding 3 inch screws. - Lucas

5 STARS - "Grippy, resilient, tough, good-looking, and comfy.

I do like that these are impact, cut, and chemical resistant. I work retail in a pet/agricultural store, so I deal with heavy things, sharp things, and chemicals daily. It's nice to keep my hands from drying out from constant cardboard interaction and also to be able to handle chemical bottles with peace of mind. Very good gloves, overall, for all advertised reasons. I've even gotten compliments on them, based on appearance alone." - J. Kerekes

Endura® Heavy-Duty Steel-Stitched Glove

Description

This heavy-duty steel-stitched glove features levels of cut and abrasion resistance that are literally off the charts, at a price you won't believe. In fact, comparable hand protection in the past doesn't hold a candle to these gloves when it comes to both price and performance.

Designed for heavy applications like handling rough castings, blocks, bricks, and steel cables. 500 strategically placed heavy-gauge steel staples cover the entire double split-leather portion on the palm side (including the thumb crotch). This rugged durability makes for an incredibly long-lasting glove, since the staples protect in the most critical wear areas of the glove. The split-leather glove body is out-seam sewn, with seams moved away from inside the fingers, toward the back, for excellent comfort and longer seam life. All seams are double stitched.

Dexterity® Anti-Impact Cut-Resistant Glove made with Micropore Nitrile Grip

Description

This glove has a serious split personality: its outside face is tough, rugged, and cut-resistant, while its inside face is made from 100% natural cotton. A cut-resistant glove that has a high proportion of cotton in it? It sounds impossible, but our textile engineers have pushed the boundaries once again.

Because it’s so soft, cotton is a wonderful fiber to have next to your skin. It also breathes better than oil-based synthetic fibers, and removes moisture from the skin in the same way a towel would.

Besides being a pleasure to wear, these gloves also offer heavy-duty protection from both cut and impact hazards. Since its grey outer shell is crafted with Canadian made polyester, and core spun with composite filament fiber, this glove is rated ANSI level 2 for cut resistance. This means that it offers good protection from cuts and snags while hiding dirt, extending glove life, and reducing premature disposal of gloves.

The addition of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) backing helps reduce back-of-hand injuries. TPR backing is sonically welded right onto the glove, rather than glued—which ensures that it won’t come off. In this style, the TPR backing extends right to the fingertip to prevent injuries common in the oil and gas, and construction industries.

To reduce the chance of injuries even further, these gloves have the best wet grip on the market – even when there’s oil involved. The micropore nitrile grip design featured in this style utilizes the latest developments in micropore technology by infusing the nitrile coating with millions of tiny pores. In simple terms, these pores displace oils and liquids when pressed against smooth surfaces, and create a kind of suction that further strengthens your grip. This style provides great comfort, dexterity, and grip, making these gloves the perfect choice for handling oily parts, and working with sharp or jagged metals.

The final perk? An ID label to personalize your gloves, and prevent loss.
